About This Event
We're surrounded by lists every day: playlists, grocery lists, menus, wish lists. Umberto Eco said that "the list is the origin of culture." It can certainly be the origin for a good poem. We'll explore list poems and experiment with different approaches to writing one in this informal workshop. Our emphasis will be on play and discovery: no previous writing experience is necessary! Facilitated by Erik Schuckers, Center for Creativity: The Workshop This workshop is free and open to all members of the University of Pittsburgh community: students, faculty, and staff.
