About This Event
When the semester ends, it's time to take a deep breath and relax a little. At the Center for Creativity, we'd like to thank our Pitt faculty and staff for a great year of "making stuff" with creative lunchtime sessions in May and June! Create your own 3D creature! Learn the basics of needle felting and creating structure. Come with an idea of something you'd like to make, and feel free to bring along some photo references. (Objects should have fairly simple shapes, like the bear pictured.) These lunchtime sessions are informal, explorative, hands-on experiences facilitated by Workshop staff. After you register, you can join in the fun on your own schedule anytime between noon and 1:30 p.m. We provide demos at 12:15 and 12:45 p.m., and guidance as you work. No experience is necessary: amateurs and beginners are welcome! Refreshments, materials, and supplies are all provided!
