An unprecedented artistic collaboration with the international humanitarian organization, Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières, THE TIPPING POINT is a visceral, sensory, provocative, shared experience that uplifts human consciousness at a time of crisis, an emotional response; a wake-up call to the world around us. THE TIPPING POINT re-imagines DOCTORS WITHOUT BORDERS critically acclaimed touring exhibition, FORCED FROM HOME, with movement, a theatrically immersive set, powerful projections, a unique cast of 12 local dancer/actors, and an international group of re-settled refugees sharing vulnerable testimonies. The expanded performance schedule includes 10 performances created for intimate groups of 40 per show that plays throughout 25 CARRICK, a new & unique Center for the Arts. The production's creative team consists of some of Pittsburghs TOP designers and directors including Stephanie Mayer-Staley, Gab Cody, Joe Spinogatti, along with Corningworks long-time lighting designer, Iain Court. NOTE: This production is suitable for ages 16 & up. This production may be difficult for patrons with mobility issues, as it requires audience to move up and down stairs and through uneven terrain.
