About This Event
Pittsburgh Classic Players presents Tennessee Williams classic, A Streetcar Named Desire. Directed by Shannon Knapp, and featuring Alyssa Heron as Blanche, Brett Sullivan Santry as Stanley, and Jalina McClain as Stella, this production asks the audience to consider this play within the lens of the Me Too movement, to feel the weight of what it means to believe the accusers, while also acknowledging that mental illness is real, it's devastating, and that we cannot nor should not wish it away. Opening July 19th and running weekends through July, this show promises to bring the heat to the Spartan Center of Hazelwood.
